Premium Fuel in Shelby & $$$ to insure 500 horses.
OUCH...... The beat goes on after the sticker shock of paying way over MSRP for the car to begin with. The 500 horses are gonna be a significant increase in insurance premiums......and the recommended fuel is premium, and we all know about that x-tra cost. Just a many of reasons that my 'Stang GT works fine e'nuff for me....

Lots of people on the board have opted for tuners that require premium fuel and we don't have 500 HP. I small price to pay for all the extra ponies in my opinion!

Yeah, but how 'bout the insurance on those 500 horses? You're sure not going to disguise it to the insurance companies with the VIN in place (unlike personal mods after the fact). I agree however that anybody that's got money to burn won't care about any of the associated costs. I'm not one of those people, and bang for the buck is very relevant to me. Each to their own......
