all i know is that the Scott Drake ones are the ones off of the 427 Shelby AC Cobra while these are the newer ones, but i say these look WAY!!!!!!! better than the originals, folows the flow of the car better

I think the Scott Drake badges were from the 289 Cobras, the 427s actually said 427 on them.

But I agree the new style badges look better.

 

I love the look of these new style ones! I too am replacing all my GT badging and these work perfect for what I am doing.

 

what are you doing about the rear decklid emblem aka - fake gas cap???

I was going to just switch the GT one out for the V6 version until a discussion on grabberorange.net led me to the SilverHorseRacing ones that aren't crappy plastic like the Factory ones ... although ALOT more expensive... so now I am thinking about going with the plain Chrome SHR one and getting a "vintage" tribar pony emblem and sticking that in the middle like "coondog" on GOnet has. ..might be one of those things that gets noticed at shows a little more than the factory piece??

 

Well I haven't decided. I think that I am leaning towards the pony tri-bar version. But I also like the plain cobra one as well. So many choices....argggg

its been a BAD week for me ... On Friday I ordered my CST seats, this weekend I've ordered these badges (4 pairs), Scott Drake 6 piece billet underhood dressup kit, FRPP hood latches, Push button start, not to mention the MGW shifter and a Hurst White Ball that I should be billed for this coming week AND once TillmanSpeed gets those ARH headers going with the group buy I'm getting those ! put down the credit card and slowly back away!

Just about every day since I ordered my car I've come home to a package with some sort of part in it. My wife has made a couple comments here and there, but I know the day is coming when she's going to unload on me. We've had wheels/tires stacked in the dining room, FRPP Borla AND GTA exhaust in the kitchen (I wanted to try both) as well as tons of other boxes all over the house. Man I love my wife!

 

Yep it sounds like you got a good one! You better hang on to her. If she hasn't killed you by this point she must be very understanding. Since I already wrecked a marriage and haven't settled down again I only have my son to gripe at me about the obsession!
