I'm getting my car off the bodyshop today.... with new pristine virgin decklid without holes. Need to relocate my Sirius mole inside the back window... New lid is around $300, so if you're planning getting your holes filled... think twice, new lid is almost the same price.

Oh, I ordered THE LAST PRE-PAINTED BLACK ducktail from CDC yesterday... after they run out of pre-painted, CDC will only sell plain ducktails. I'm not 100% sure, if I'm installing it though... need to see how it looks w/o spoiler. Front might seem too heavy with the scoop if there's no rear spoiler...

Carbon Fiber Trunk

Okay, before everyone says it looks to ricey, this carbon fiber trunk kills two birds with one stone. It eliminates the spoiler AND gets rid of the tacky GT badge. I'm thinking of adding this and painting it if it doesn't look good as is. http://www.carbonlimited.com/ford_mustang.htm The jury's still out LOL. What do you think?

Greg:

If you're going to go through all the trouble of buying, installing and painting it, why not just remove the spoiler and GT badge and fill the holes?

If you're not building racecar or like ricey look, getting this is stupid. Factory lid w/o holes is around $300 and around $200 to get it painted. That's what I did. But got it under $300 installed. Installed ducktail already though.

Here's my baby.

One more month until she comes out of storage!

I waited SOO long to be able to order the spoiler delete option here in Canada. Worth every moment of waiting - I get nothing but compliments on it, and never seen another white GT coupe w/spoiler delete on the road.

Very nice, I really like the hood scoop and spoiler delete combo. I only wish the scoop was functional. One other thing I have notices however is how much happier I am with my 17" bullitt's as opposed to the new 07's all silver bullits. Are the silver an option?
