JMO but I don't think this is anything new - the IUP is still limited but alot less limited than it has been.

Talking to my dealer last Friday night he was telling me about a delay on the T85 and 44K, I thought it was BS. But now it looks like it just might be true. :bang: I guess I will have to give him a call tomorow and see if he has any other news about the V8. They are getting a V6 vert, but I want my GT

Well its not for any of us to worry but that F.Weyer dude and Ford were supposed to go to Court tommorow. Weyer's screwed because Delphi hold tier Patent.

That's the only thing I'm "slightly" concerned about. Just never know what a judge will say.

All the other issues on that link are "old news" and Ford is finally getting some of the orders caught up. At least they are now building cars with IUP.

Just get over this one last hurdle and everyone will be fine.

Looking at some of the wait times that some people are having I would say 6 to 8 weeks is about right!

This pretty much corresponds with what Karpro posts every week with his commodities reports. It's nothing we haven't been hearing for several weeks.

I spoke with three separate dealers friday since it was week 8 for me. I wasnt getting my order due to the production delays. Every one of them told me that ford isnt producing the GT as planned and the production is going to be limited on the GTs. Primarily V6 are being produced. In my conversations with the fleet managers at Each dealer, they told me I would be lucky to see the car I ordered by june! and I ordered 1/3/2005 (This is including my own dealership) that I ordered from. My dealerships fleet director even suggested I start looking at the dealerships around town for a car on the lot and told me he recommended I get a refund on my 500 down, no issues. That was a pretty strong message coming from the dealership I ordered from - A large dealership in Seattle. That led me to give up on the order and search for one and bought right off the truck this weekend.
I dont know if this information on production is reliable - but it was hard to ignore being given advice to search around from the dealership I was ordering from and the fleet director who knew I was putting nearly 40% as a down payment on the car!!

Na can't be just like all of us they are feeding off something , why would Ford Stop a Good Thing ? they are making so many I think they just ran low on parts because none of the ones out there say Limited GT. Supply and Demand.

This is the first I've heard of a delay on the 18R ISAP. That is what you were supposed to order instead of the 18G IUP to avoid delays! I wonder if Ford underestimated demand on that also?
