Possible dumb question (where are they built)

If this is a stupid question then I appologize in advance.
I recently ordered a 2007 and I wanted to know where it will be built. When I ordered my SuperDutys the were being produced in 2 different plants (My first was made in Mexico and my current was built in Kentucky) and my question is whether the Mustangs are being produced in more then one plant and if it can be determined from the VIN number which plant (ie. A superduty with a VIN starting 1FT is built in KY and 3FT was hecho en Mexico).
Thanks...

Jim

Thanks, I was not sure if they were built in more than one plant. I was hoping it was that one since my dealer is 20 miles from the plant so the trip from plant to dealer should not take too long.

The only dumb question is the one you don't ask.

As smh said, they are built in Flat Rock, Michgan. Congrats on the order!

Thanks, This is my wife's dream car (2007 Torch Red GT Vert, Dark Charcoal leather, 18" Polished Alum wheels, Heated seats) but I am pretty stoked about it too. I got my dream car 2 years ago (F-350 SuperDuty Diesel in the same color red) so it was her turn this time. We almost bought the same car off the lot but she wanted to wait for the heated seats and the aux input for the stereo that the '07 has. So now the long wait. It won't be the first time though, when I bought my first SuperDuty I ordered June 1st and picked it up Nov 2nd...

Your wife has excellent taste, but I'm biased because I have the same exact car ordered myself!
