Based on my experience and the stories I have read on this board ANYTHING is possible! I would bet it is possible if all of them have been ordered real recently. I don't really see how one dealer could order 18 though...they just don't have the allocation available to order 18 cars at once. They may have put 18 orders into the system but they are just going to sit there for a long time.

I would say entirely possible. My dealer (the largest in Michigan) claims to have 15 05s on order (all of which were allocated). Mine was pre-ordered on the 24the of May (as soon as the banks opened) and did not show up as "bucked" (scheduled) until this morning (though I've had a VIN for some time). From what my dealer tells me, NONE of the 15 cars for which they had VINs were scheduled before this week, which brings me to the good news. My build date is Sept 27th!
