POSSIBLE '05 SIGHTING AT DEALERSHIP!
Most dealers wouldn't know the 2005 mustang if they tripped over it on their way to work.
How's it going people, First time poster long time reader. Came across this thread and just thought I should let you know that some dealers actually got there's on the 29th of September, well at least in thier stock. I called Cerritos of Ford here in So. California on the 29th and at first the guy told me they were not going to get them for another couple of weeks but after getting his print out notice that they had (1) in stock. I don't know if it was for thier showroom ( which i'm sure it is ) but you never know. Well, I thought I'd share this with you guys. I haven't get a chance to go there but maybe tomarrow, if I go I'll let you guys know.
My tenants Honda packed it in a while back. I Took her to the local Ford dealer. She bought a FORD Escort ZX2. They told her it was a 99. Ended up being a 98. She got an xtra $1000.00 off! But go figure!
pretty sad when a ford dealership can't even keep their paperwork straight!
If you can't trust your ford salseman, or dealership, who are you gonna trust?

Adrenalin, did you read the original post!?
I said that she will be leaving for school this MORNING (around 11 AM) and not get home to send me the pics (if she was right and they put them out) later this evening. She promised to call me between noon and 5 PM to let me know if she got the pics. She will be arriving home around 9 or 10 PM, depending on when her classes let out.

All right. I just got a call from my g/f. When she drove past this morning, she didn't see any '05 Mustangs in the showroom or in the lot, but she will be driving by again on her way home this evening around 9 or 10 PM, and this time she's going to get out and look around the lot to see if there are any 2005s.
So as of right now, no '05 spotted, but I will update this thread again later tonight when my g/f returns home and gives me a call to let me know if she saw them.

Nope, no cell phone. I hate them. Electronic leashes. It's also one of the reasons I can afford my Mustang - no wireless bills!

These days it's taken for granted that everyone has a cell phone. I actually ONLY have a cell phone and it doesn't cost me much more than what I was paying on my home phone, and now I have the ability to make a call wherever I am.
And you know...they don't have to be "leashes"...you always have the ability to not answer or turn it off
All right, bad news. My g/f checked out the lot... every square inch of it, and there was nothing but a bunch of brand new Focuses and Freestyles. Sorry, guys. I'm disappointed too.
She did tell me that she couldn't find some of the cars she thought she saw... so perhaps the Mustang is indoors in seclusion somewhere? I highly doubt it, but you never know, I guess.
I checked the dealership's inventory on dealerconnections.com, and what my g/f told me coincided with what I saw there. A bunch of 2005 Focuses and Freestyles. If I or my g/f sees anything new, I will only post a new thread if I definitive proof, i.e. pictures.

Do you know you can go to this site type in your zip code, get a list of local dealers and you can search there inventories... Cerritios Ford shows no 2005 Mustangs.

Patience my friends. Unfortunately Ford does ship via Fedex. Besides, if you owned a Ford dealership and you received your two vehicle alocation of the hottest car of the year would you be in a hurry to deliver it to the buyers? I suspect not. They will want to sit in it, show it to their staff, drive it, show it off, and use it to drive some showroom traffic.
Cars will be arriving at the dealership anytime now. B)

Yep, no joke. My g/f passed a dealership in her hometown in central NJ this afternoon and said she might have seen '05 mustangs being unloaded from delivery trucks.
The bad news - she didn't know for sure because the trucks were unloading in the back of the lot and other cars in the lot were blocking her view. She wanted to drive by, but she had to make a left.
The good news - she will be driving by the dealership bright and early tomorrow morning to go to school. She will bring her digital camera and take photos if there are any '05 Mustangs in the lot.
Oh man!! I'm so excited!
Obviously, I will post the pics here if she gets any. She gets back from school/work at around 9/10PM, so that's when I'll know for sure.
