That was painful to watch. The first sign of trouble should have been when she tried to back up and went forward and they had to tell her to put it in reverse...

At least it wasn't a 'real' Cobra.

Yeah, the title for the video tried to make it sound like this was an original 1967. The torn fiberglass hood gives it away pretty quickly.

The lady in the Cobra was having problems with the clutch due to more power than she could handle.I once didn't have a true understanding of an LS6 Chevelle when I was 17.I floored it,got so much tire spin my girlfriend and I nearly ended up in the next lane with oncoming traffic.I lost the girl(she was p-od,scared her) that day but my step-dad bought the Chevelle anyway.

Well maybe he will get enough emails to take the butt-ugly hard top off, looks like the old gum ball machine football helmets.

What a DUMB RUNT (the word I used rhymes with RUNT) - this is what happens when stupid people breed. The parents of the woman driver and the "husband" who gave her the keys have stupid parents.

It's got nothing to do with being female... It has everything to do with being stupid.

Here's a guy doing a bang up job at Mustang Week last year.

Ok, that made me nauseous. Replica or not, it is my dream car, and even though you can't compare the value of a car to a wife, when I eventually get one, the wife will never drive it! My wife hears me talk about Cobras constantly, and knows how much getting one will mean to me. I probably wouldn't be able to get her to drive it if I wanted her to, because she'd be afraid of that very incident. Hopefully that Cobra owner on the video will get things fixed ok, and maybe even keep the wife, too. At least no humans were hurt...

I think a black Cobra did the exact same thing that week as well also going right into traffic at that same spot. Nice too, people all along one side and traffic on the other. What an idiot.

Oh my my. You could see it coming a mile away. Too much car, not enough experience.

It was a pretty car. Hope she is OK too.

but still a sweet sweet ride none-the-less. and yea that top really does need to go. that car needs to be topless 24/7. who would drive that in the rain anyway? definetely a garage queen (like my stang ahahahah)

Stupid (letting her drive it) + Stupid (obviously NEVER had driven it before AND it was wet) = Stupid (he got what he deserved when he let her take the wheel)

I'm not sure what you mean by "no horsepower".

Nothing that should make it hard to control, at 15mph its not too hard to handle an MR2, especially a non turbo with well under 200hp.
