Congrats on the car,

The Ford stripes could have been better IMO

I’m going to agree. I’m not digging the Ford strips. Great car though.

I don't mind the dealer-installed stripes, but is that an optical illusion that they look further apart the farther they are away from your eye?

Yup, that's the illusion created by the curve of the hood.

Thanks everyone. The car is amazing.

As far as the wait goes?!/!?!?!?!?!? What wait!? haa haa haa

The stripes look great in person in my opinion. Like I said before, I would never have been able to justify paying for an add on stripe at a later date, so these are great for me.

. They are only 2 inches apart.

Thanks to Jeremy for posting the pic for me.

Hey PonyGirl, that's a good looking car. I know I posted this in your other forum, but in case you missed it:

I'm interested in knowing how your purchase went at Marshall. I live in O'fallon and actually drove through their lot last night after closing (it was my birthday yesterday and I told my wife that I have to do a drive through). I noticed that they had a silver GT with red leather interior that came in yesterday, but it was already tagged for someone. I didn't see your car, so I figured you already got it. Please let me know how the experience with Marshall went. I'm trying to find a dealer in the area that has a good GT alotment, but not too many on order already and are willing to place a priority of 10 on the order. I'm purchasing on the Z plan so I'm not worried about the price rather I'm more worried about how the dealer handles the order.

Thanks!

Hey fastball........here is thescoop on Marshall Ford!!
By the time you got there last night I was allready driving my baby around town. Sorry I missed ya.
My experience with Marshall Ford was amazing. Lynn, my sales person is very knowledgable ( allthough i tought her some things about the cat...haa haa haa, thanks to this web page)....but she is GREAT!!! They communicate well. Everything was ordered and tracked just as promised. No surprises at all!!!
They said they can not keep a GT on the lot more then a couple of hours, and that now they are not getting many at all cause the ones they get are the ones they ordered for people ( like mine).....I was ordered on a Priority 10. Not sure about the z plan, but please ask her. I know they are not overwhelmed with orders, so she should be able to accomidate you and your wife. PLease tell Lynn I sent you. She knows I have been on the web page, and that I have been telling people about her. Thanks a lot. Let me know if I can do anything else for you.
636-978-FORD.

Look for me on Highway 70...............
