+1 should be facing forward... maybe you need to switch out the passenger side and driver's side emblems (so both face forward). on the emblems... clean and sharp.

Do the tri-bar ponies fit the same peg holes as the GT emblem (assuming there are holes)?

Looks good. I love mine. I put them on b/c I like the look better than the GT symbol and not for the sleeper effect. Can't tell ya how many times I'm driving through car shows or in a parking lot and I hear people make comments that its a V6. heh heh "FOOLED YOU" - Dark Helmet.

Just installed mine today. Went for a little different look. I saw some all chrome ponies that inspired the monochromatic look that I went with. The red and blue bars are covered with silver vinyl and if I don't like it I can peel it right off. I didn't use the 'GT' holes in the fender. I trimmed the tabs off of the backs of the ponies and placed them lower and slightly more forward on the fenders.

Don't toss the GT emblems

The Ponies fit in the original GT emblem holes. Then I cut the pins off the GT emblems and picked up some 3M Trim tape and glued them on the rockers, with red stripes around them.
