polished c&l
#2
Back when I was using a metal C&L intake tube ( pre supercharger ) I had mine polished. Came out pretty sharp.
I no longer use the metal C&L intake tube because I don't feel like spending $250 on motor mounts to drop the engine 1/2 inch so I could use it. So...if anyone is interested, it is forsale. Shoot me a PM!!
<edit>
OK, apparently I have caused confusion saying I am selling my C&L intake tube and people think I am selling a C&L CAI. It is just the intake tube I am selling. So just to clarify, it is the intake tube not a CAI that I am selling

Hawgman, That looks awesome!!! I tried to polish mine with Mother's polish and a polishing ball but after 30 minutes of buffing, it did not look anywhere near as nice as yours. How did you get it looking so smooth?

Sent it to a shop that polishes wheels, motorcycle parts, blowers, you name it. If a shine can be put on it, they polish it. He said it was a little difficult because the casting was pretty pitted. But all in all it came out nice. Alot petter than I expected it to. A year later and it still looks as good as it did when I had it done.
