Pictures from Granite Reef

My brother and I went up the road a few miles to the Granite Reef Dam area to get some pictures. It was a nice day for it, and a pretty good location.

He just put the Ford Racing stripes on it the other day.

Thanks!

Looks can be deceiving! We were actually about 30 feet from the blacktop. I tried to take the pictures so you couldn't see the road (I guess it worked!).

We brought the California Duster and Quick Detailer, just in case they got dusty.

In FL we have big hills and beaches and a few swamps here and there.

If you have big hills, than you aren't in south Florida . I grew up in Coral Springs (near Ft. Lauderdale). No hills there. I do miss being close to the ocean, though.

Im located Ellenton, Fl(40mins south of Tampa and a few exits north of Sarasota). Im much closer to beaches then big hills also. But Fl sure does have some nice hills... Haha

Great pics, though they're a bit over exposed. I'm assuming you're using a point and shoot. I dunno if you have photoshop, but you might want to hit those with the exposure adjustment. But you've got great composition there.

It's a Kodak 3.2 megapixel digital camera (about 6 years old). I ran them through Roxio to crop them and do the Auto Fix option for exposure and saturation. They look good on my screen. The untouched pictures look a little dark.
