Go with the Redfire. Easier to maintain than the black.

I like Black a little more but ordered Redfire because it's easier to keep clean.

Black is a PITA to keep clean and shiney. Redfire for some reason reminds me of a taurus. I'd still say go for redfire

Here's my redfire V6... everyone tells me they think redfire gives it a real classic look. I just had a GT rear bumper and JBA duals put on, but no good pics yet...

I found this one on another site. Looks really good with the rims and painted calipers.

Here's some more. Those are '95 Cobra "R" style rims. Look familiar?

Everybody knows having a black car is a labor of love to keep it clean, but when it is clean I don't think there is any color that looks better, JIMO. If you like black and red though, why not go with the Black and the ICAP. I absolutely love it and wouldn't think of going with anything else.

Yes, yes they do.

I guess the masses have spoken. Pretty much most of the replies have been for redfire. I reallllllllllly want black, but I know from experience it's a PITA to maintain, and swirlmarks are heartbreaking.

04-I really do love the red/black color combination, but the red interior in the ICAP is just a tad bit too bright for my taste. I plan to get dark charcoal interior, and adding my own red accents.

Black and Redfire are both classy looking colors. The Tungsten will be as well. If you really want the black, then do it. Just make sure you learn to care for it properly, and you'll have a gorgeous car for years to come.

You really don't want to leave stuff on your paint that doesn't show as much on lighter colors. The crud is busy doing all sorts of damage to the finish. Black lets you know when it is time to protect your paint!

Autopia.org is a great resource, and populated by detailing nuts who can tell you how to how to care for it, get rid of swirl marks, etc. It will be more work, but if you want black, get a black one.

Well, since I have to re-order my 06, I am seriously debating getting another color. While I like the idea of his/her stangs nearly the same color, I also think it's kinda dumb to have two nearly identical cars. My two choices I am narrowing it down to are black and redfire. My first GT was a redfire, and my 95 Cobra was a rio red, my 00 Corolla was black, and my 04 Solara was flat black. I think I am partial since red/black is my favorite color combo. I would like personal pics of the two colors. The professional photos seem to make them look very different in each pic. Also any advice/opinions are welcome.
*edit-just realized I spelled redfire wrong :bang:
My black beauty! Nothing looks as sinister as a black Stang!
