Dan-Don't go redfire. I know you have been debating between Torch and Redfire for a while now.

Get the Torch. go to your local dealer and find a Torch mustang. The best color right now, in my opinion. Remember, when they show it in pictures it is under OPTIMAL lighting, and will really not look as good as that on the road. Torch is brighter and more vibrant in real life, while redfire is dark and maroonish.

Don't flame me, just comments.
Torch looks good, but I've seen both at my local dealer. Torch catches your eye and does look good.....but the redfire metallic is so rich and interesting to look at with all the colour shifts.

Yes, see how the colors shift and swirl...look deeply into the colors...you like the Redfire...you must have the Redfire...you will have the Redfire!

Now, cluck like a chicken!

Maybe ask Ford to paint one side (lengthwise) of the car in torch and half in redfire. Park it so that you wake up to a different side every morning.

That car would look so hot without a spoiler... Just imagine it (my RAM's running too slow to mess with Photoshop)...

Literally a 30 second chop. Took me longer to convert it to a .JPG then to make it. Oh and anyone care to resize it to 1024x768? I need a new wallpaper.

Thanks Rob. Its funny, the colour just keeps growing on me. Plus, I think metallic colours make this car.

Drove beside a redfire explorer today. Wow, that is my favorite colour on the Explorer. It looked great! B)

Dan, Redfire for sure. It has that deep metallic color, class and fast!

Question....Why does red seem to fade faster than any other color? My Laser Red has two spots (right above the front wheels on top of the fender) that have faded, the rest of the car looks fine.

Red is the most expensive color to make, very difficult to make the pigments, I guess with that, the pigment is not that forgiving to sunlight.

That is the closest I can get without getting too technical.

Geez Dan! , why do you have to tease us with that "Redfire". That was my favorite color all along, then I switched to Black.

Got a black one up above my computer with about A 10 in. rim on the back, and it looks totally BAD!

Now you show us that Redfire, and got me totally confused again !

Sorry Dave.....but they were too sweet not to post. B) As yourself if it was a black gt with the perfect lighting taking that curve, which would you like more?

For me, its redfire. But I love red.

My 99' is Laser Red which is very similar to Red Fire. I love it in the sun, but cloudy days it is very dark, burgundy color. I went for the Torch Red after seeing a Mach 1 in it, unreal. Also if I'm not mistaken 05' is the last year for Torch Red so it will be a unique color for the S197 series.

I agree Pony Express. Torch red is an AWESOME color, and for ME redire is to burgundy in not ideal lighting.

People need to remember that the pictures for redfire is under ideal lighting conditions and perfectly clean. It looks brighter than it is.

cough...torch red, dan...cough
