Pics of new Louvers and rear Medallion

I just took a couple of pics to have some of my new louvers and rear medallion and thought I would share.

The last is just a neat tree that I thought would make a cool picture...

So many ponies go to the stables during the winter...mine gets lonely running by itself...

Thanks guys...I appreciate it!

It is always a challenge to add something but not go so far as to be gaudy or not well thought out. I was on the fence for quite awhile on the louvers but saw some in person and think it goes with the retro theme well enough... Thanks for the comments!

These are the Astra Hammond from Amazon.com that was all the talk a couple of months ago. I just about got them then but waited a bit and finally pulled the trigger. Hard to beat the price at $229.00 shipped.

I do think I will have them painted gloss to match the hood blackout and the rear wing. Looks sorta strange with the matte louvers and glossy wing.

I have SERIOUSLY considered the Silverhorse side louvers. Actually would already have them but somewhat afraid of how the install would go. Another quandry is if I should get them yellow (most likely) or black (to keep the two tone thing going).

Perhaps I should start a poll!

Mach,
Looking good. I'd suggest going flat or satin black for your rear wing.

When I installed a gloss black take-off rear wing,I thought it stood out against the rear louvers as well. I ended up painting the rear wing satin black & replaced my gloss black taillight panel with a flat black one. Also painted my Moss taillight bezels satin black. Turned out well & everything ties in nicely now. I'll post a pic as soon as I get a chance. Usually getting home after dark anymore.

I suppose that I should have said "rear wing and full hood blackout" which is also gloss. Again, this is me trying to be different than the pack...
