Well, we took delivery this afternoon. They cleaned her up real nice for us. Dealer forgot about the chrome exhaust tips (but we did pay for them) so he said we can come in later in the week to have them put on for us. We knew it would be love at first sight . Is the pony cap on the stock wheels new for '08? I thought it was a ford logo before . Pictures below (last one shows HIDs turned on).

Nice GT, love that blue! Man you timed it just right, had you gotten your car a couple weeks earlier it would have still been raining here in Austin. I had to leave my convertible in the garage the last couple of months with the near daily monsoon - as soon as it looked like we were done with the rain for a while I went for a drive with mine, it was nice to get out and put the top down again! Hopefully we'll have nice weather for a while here now. Where in town did you take the pics of your car at? Looks like it's got a pretty good view of downtown.

 

Thanks Jay. Took the pics at Barton Creek mall. They have an isolated parking lot on the northeast side that no one parks in. It has a great view of the skyline (better in person). Sunday was kind of smoggy, but it's usually beautiful at sunset. Looks like they need to do some brush trimming over there. What part of town are you in? We're up near Cedar Park.

Ah, Barton Creek Mall, I haven't been down there in quite a while! I live up in the northwest part of town, near the intersection of 360 and 2222 - that's not too far from Cedar Park - which dealer did you get your car from?
