My last 3 cars were black so I was going with silver this time around for a change, but after seeing pictures of the black 05..... I had no choice. Once you go black, you can't go back. B)

Black - Never owned black before, love upkeep and enjoy fretting in open parking lots, proud of the dirt and scratches your car gets over time that show from a mile off, love the hotest car in the summer (literally)
(Current black car owner)
Next car, windveil blue. Cooler in summer, doesn't blend in with the other nine million primary colors on the road, probably hides dirt and scratches reasonably well, and hey... it looks cool.

I was thinking EXACTLY the same thing -- black on the 05' Mustang seems to hide its more subtle side "swoops" completely. Even a black Ferrari 360 Modena I saw on the highway in broad daylight looked SOOOOO bland compared to the silver and yellow ones I have seen (sweet photos below). I think the 99-04 gen of Mustangs look great in black, particularly with the sharp, defined angles.
The smooth look of the 05' seems to do a slight injustice when combined with black. If I had the guts to get the Redfire metallic, THAT woulb be my pick (though again, I go with white).
It's hotness time!
Taken at a Best Buy parking lot where the owner parks RIGHT by the entrance and side ways and across 2 spaces... you'd think he wants LESS attention, but you'd be wrong.
Local mechanic had this outside and for good reason -- the whole city thinks "wow, if a Ferrari comes here, the service MUST be good!

I think your Ferrari owner wants to avoid door dings more than attention. What the heck is he/she doing at Best Buy?
Was torn between Sonic Blue, which is an awesome color to look at, and Redfire, what is interesting is that they are the same intensity... if you photoshop the profile photo of the Redfire GT, shifting the hue only, you get Sonic Blue.
In the end chose Redfire GT, Parchment cloth interior, Shaker 1000

Yeah, but he still parked it at the entrance where you can't see it from the Best Buy doorway (no security watching)... I'd park it near the front on the extreme left or right where no one parks.
Maybe "where to park" would make a great new thread! (j/k, lol)

I chose the Redfire GT after initially picking the Black. My first ever new vehicle purchase was a Maroon (same as redfire) Nissan Hardbody truck in 87 (my senior yr of HS). I haven't bought myself a new vehicle since - just my wife! SO - I reverted to history. Plus I like the color.
So - does redfire count as RED? Whatever the case - it'll look good with my FSU license plate!

I'd say that Blue, like Red, is related to sex. After buying the Sonic Blue 05 I will not be getting sex for a while.
