Perfect Mustang accessory ;-)
I love my Mustang GT, but I'd been driving it wayyyyyyyyy too much! So I decided I needed a second car, something relatively cheap, good on gas (daily driver/commuter) but still fun. They are opposites: V8/auto/coupe vs 4/stick/convert but both are neo-classics! VRROOOM-VRROOOM vs zoom-zoom.
It's a 95 Miata with 65K miles for $4500 I found on Craig's list. After 2 days of detailing (and repainting a faded front bumper) it cleaned up really well. I've already heard the "but it's a girl's car!" bit, but it's been on Car & Driver's 10 Best List every year for a reason: it's a great little (errr TINY!) sports car.

Nice cars. I had a 93 LX 5.0 Convertible stolen after 15 months, so I had to find a car fast without a down payment and ended up leasing a 95 Miata M edition (with a hardtop I could put on in the winter). I liked it so much I bought out the lease until I ordered my current 2000 Mustang GT Convertible. The Miata was definitely a fun car to drive.

This can be marked as understatement of the year but, the stang really out classes other cars and this proves it, the appeal of this car never stops amazing me. Good luck with the Miata.

Then again, you wouldn't think an LS2 Vette could get 28mpg by looking at it.

dude you hit the spot, I have being wanted to do the same thing the miata is a perfect cabrio, it has the hip of the old triumph and alfa romeo spyders, good price too, I was looking for one miata in my area, but they wanted way too much for them
Great choice.
I had a gixxer, but sold it because of all the old farts driving in florida=very dangerous daily driver bike.
