Question people with x-pipes; hissing noise?

i'm not exactly sure what i'm hearing since i'm new to X-Pipes.

it almost sounds like a leak.. it's a hissing noise, but I can't find any leaks. is this the air crossing at the X that I'm hearing?

it doesn't sound bad, but I don't wanna be running a leak

I have the Bassani X-Pipe with high-flow cats if that matters.

sounds like a leak to me. Can you pull it up on ramps, start it and then feel around for leaks

I had the same setup and never heard any hissing noises, its most likely a leak.

yep it was a leak. a couple of leaks actually. they're pretty small though.

i think i may get the x-pipe welded on, clamps suck.

More likely the pipes are two different sizes. Once I made mine all the same size no more leaks. Tq the clamps to 40 lbs I like this style clamps.
