Wow if true. That would probably mean the 05GT could do like 13.2 stock?

My guess is most of the gain would be from the chip. With the improved suspension, I doubt the sticky tires helped as much as they have in the past. The exhaust shouldn't have made a big difference since the system is mandrel bent already.

It depends on what they did to the exhaust and how restricted it is, but it can be good for at least a tenth, more if you add in longtubes. The chip, will of course help, but the main thing should be the sticky tires. I have seen improvements of half a second or more down the 1/4 mile with some D/R's. 12.9 is great, but that doesn't mean it can run 13.2's necessarily in stock form. Nice sticky tires alone are good for AT LEAST three-tenths.

Can't chip the 05's you have to reprogram i.e. flash the current one.

I was thinking 3/10 on the SN-95 but with the GT auto doing 99.9mph and 13.6s I am sure the car is capable of putting a lot more power to the ground than the SN-95's.

Well, even if the mods made a 0.4-0.5sec difference, it still puts the GT in the 13.3-13.4sec range. Again, I know I'm speculating but it is a good sign.

That's pretty cool, GT should see 12's with just a little amount of mods.

Yup, but Ford said long ago they would release the coding right away to tuners. It took them 3 years to crack the SVTF computer.

I recently email Hypertech about the availability of their Power Programmer III for the 05's and they emailed me back saying that it would be available sometime early next year.
