I was wondering if anyone knew what the piece was called on the V6 Mustang. It runs from front to back tires on both sides, its black and at the bottom, no I am not talking about the decals either lol. Like a protective plastic piece or something. I was wondering b/c I might have to by a new one b/c I hit a pothole apparently and it ripped the WHOLE thing off my car.

Side rocker panel...I think....and if you get new ones, get them painted to match the body...like the GT.

Technically, "rocker panel moulding". The rocker panel is the steel piece behind it. Only letting you know in case you call the parts dept to order it... don't want you to get the wrong thing.

theres a guy on ebay(I think its 'cascotech'?) selling saleen/roush takeoffs cheep- I think he wanted 80 a pair for rocker covers- any color you want, factory painted...I want a set in black, and a black wing for my car

go on ebay and search '2005 mustang bumper' im sure youll find him.

EDIT- just noticed you have a V6- he only has gt takeoffs (I think). you could either get a set of matching gloss satin silver color or gloss black, I think GT moldings are the same except every V6 Ive seen were semigloss black( Personally semigloss looks better to me- makes car look 'shorter').

I dunno if you'd want to change your color.
