I am looking into purchasing a ford racing FR500s muffler. How do you feel about painting them? What would the process be for painting it-what would I use?

 

I just cleaned them and sprayed them with flat black bbq paint. Paper and tape over the tips first.

 

I just got some for Christmas, and they are lined up perfect right now.
Now I don't want to pull them off to paint them, but they really stick out.
F*&#ing winter is never ending here, so I guess I'll just do it in the spring.

 

I painted my stock one on the '11 while they were on the car. Just taped and papered everything real good......but then there was no winter then either.
