Chip can overhaul my 05 anyday. Sure they normally do old stuff but I don't see anything wrong with overhauling something new. Mind you, looks like most of the mods were just body kit stuff, not the greatest radio, but under the hood is what I would be interested in seeing.
Ya, but I thought the point of the show was to help people in a lurch, or they had a dream of restoring dad's car, etc.

Unless this lady totally wrecked her '05 and had no insurance or something, I don't understand.

Ok, you are new to this forum so I will be nice. However, if someone riced out a mustang they need to be smacked. The mustang already looks like it has attitude. Sorry but I don't think imports look like they have attitude at all. The stang looks like it was born to race, an import does not.

I might be new to this forum but not to the Mustang, and the passion behind it. The point of what i stated earlier wasnt to let the import freaks know that they could get a mustang and rice it out. The last thing we wanna see is a gorgeous v6 or a v8 beauty with huge azz fart cans. If they find that that is something they could do, it's their choice. Anything that can make them lean more towards the mustang. I dont know about you guys but i havent seen a whole lot of import owners complimenting the new mustang. Heck, they saw something in it, to compliment it in the first place.

Just about all of the import owners in my area like my car. A few commented on how "cool it would look with 6" fart cans". I basically gave them a good frown look and said "K kiddies, time for you to go back to the sandbox and play". We then got along pretty good after that. We all had a good laugh and eventually they realized that turning a stang into a ricer is not a good idea. I have seen pics of the 05 turned into a ricer and they were awful. Who in their right mind puts a whale-tail spoiler on an 05 stang?

Does nothing for me...the foose rims are too big and have to much stuff going on....the rear looks to flat across (needs more definition) maybe even reusing the GT faceplate would help?...and that paint job, with the stripes on hood flowing down too the sides,is just plain ugly...maybe those nopi tuners boys will like, but for me (chip dropped the ball on this one)

Looks like the ground effects kit is just the 3D Carbon Boy Racer kit. Stripes are similar to what Street Scene used, but obviously with a twist. There are some things I really like about the car and some I don't.

Nice to see people experimenting on different ideas. I liked the overall look and "feel" of the car, still think could've used better rims.

I've caught many ricers in full-on mode when looking at my car. I'd hate to even think of what they might be envisioning they would do to it if they had one.

Personally I think Foose is a genious, but I'd give that makeover a 4 out of 10. Not impressed at all. Foose must have had just a couple days instead of a week to do this overhaul. The options of what he could have done as far as paint scheme, body pieces, etc... are endless at this point.

I'm telling you... this has to be some special build that was done very quickly. If Foose had a whole week on the car, I bet he would have done some custom body pieces. My guess is the girl's husband was actually overhauled... probably his old beater... and as an added surprise, they put some mods and painted some boss-style stripes on her new '05. And did it all in about a day. That's my guess.

Apparently this person BreBar21 on Tallahasseemusclecar.com hates the 05 Mustang. Probably because:

He can't afford one
He tried but couldn't get one
He never read all the articles in the auto mags that love the new Mustang
He's not a real car guy
He is one of those people that thinks the only good car is his

So why don't all you real Mustangers let him know how you feel on that Tallahassee web site.

I like the car, but agree I would've expected more from Foose, its not like him at all to do a show like this and just use all ready on the market body kits. Would've thought he wouldve done something completely one of a kind.

The guy says that it was his wife who was being overhaul'd and that they had the car for 6 days, but what I dont get is he says Chip was the one looking to do an 05, so why did he not get creative, knowing Chip one would think if he wanted to mod one that he wouldve already had some really sick idea in mind.
