Ouch!

I did almost the SAME thing! I use the 'ol tennis ball trick and it works great. Well, that day I was putting on my CDC Aggressive spoiler and had to jack up the front end to get better access. Well, apparently when you lift the front end the laws of physics dictate the rear wheels will roll back a ‘lil, even with the ebreak on. DUHH! So I drop the car back down, every thing looks GREAT and I hit the open button for the garage door and SCCCRAAAPE! I immediately know what stupid thing I did and almost puked. Well, the hinge took about a dime size chunk out of the bumper! Life’s hard!!

Haven't done it to my Mustang yet. Everytime I get out, I make sure there's clearance.

My wife had done the same thing to her car though.

Talking

The first weekend I had my car, I was parking at the Marina up north, and bottomed out on a rock. It scratched the plastic rocker panel, I have since touched it up.

Perhaps you should sell your house and buy one with a bigger garage.

How much did you end up getting for the kid? Did you use craigslist?

Sorry to hear that April we are building a new house and request #1 was a BIG garage. Still if you go the touch up route it's not going to be easy. I caution you before handing the job over to a body shop as your color is difficult to match. Good luck, and I hope all goes well.

I have My Screaming yellow motorcraft Touch Up Paint.....I used with much success on the rock skip I got from a truck in VA last spring.

Here are the two dings to the bottom of the paint.

We have a two story house with the 2 car garage on the lower level, its one of those with the DARN post in the middle of the garage, I have the Shelby in the right bay and the three Harleys lined up in the middle...it is a shoe horn fit to park the Mustang in the left side but it does fit ok, my biggest fear is a ham-handed garage incident...so far so good though.

I would love to get rid of that darn pole though

Here's the answer. I never have any other vehicles in my garage ( it's only a one car) including bicycles, scooters, lawnmowers etc. I built a shed for all the other stuff. Garages are for cars and car stuff IMO. Get the other stuff out and the garage gets larger. Also, the other people in the house have no reason to go in the garage.

yep I did that, put a shed in the backyard and put everthing that could fall or tip over out there, the only thing in the garage is the cars, bikes and cleaning supplies/tools, I have a big shop in the city that I can maintanence paintwork etc at.
I am to clumsy to have misc. stuff sitting around, lol

I did similar thing with my F-150 recently. I parked F-150 halfway in the garage. My dad closed garage door and door hit F-150's hood. No scratches at all.
