I was digging around on my hard drive and found some picture from the 2003 car show in Toronto of the original concept mustang. They were taken by me. Just something interesting to look at. Please do no reuse without permissions.

Reminds me of how much worse the 17-inch "upgrade" wheels look on the production model than they did on the concept...

The front of the concept car looks close to the GT500 front end, at least the grill direction.

I gotta say it does look pretty much the same, this shot is also from the 2003 Toronto Auto SHow. Paid admission just to see the 'stang concept

haha... yeah...

but if the blades had been the optional wheels in 05 (like they should have been), you and I could have had some additional mods done by now (where are my painted stripes anyway?)

But hey, at least I've got 4 "upgrade" wheels and tires to set up my own mini-slalom (or use as a heavy-duty door stop).

And just for comparison, here's some I took a couple of weeks ago. Notice the flat tire.

I still want that concept coup. Especially like the tail lights. That thing is hot. I wonder who's holding on to that right now anyway. Ford Museum?

Not sure where it is, but it's not at the Ford Museum. At least it's not on display.
