Ordered our 2008 GT today!

Hi all, I'm new to the board- wanted to say Hi. My wife and I ordered our first "new" car today on X-Plan, never owned a convertible before so we're super excited . And so the wait begins. Now we just have to find a good home for our 2003 Mach 1

Welcome and congrats!! Good luck with the mach 1! I'd love one, but obviously can't afford one!

The 5.0 is still an awesome machine. I had a '90 GT for years and have regretted the day I let her go ever since . Thanks for the warm welcome

Edit: Sorry- I didn't notice it was a 2.3L until I posted , but still awesome, I can remember how badly I wanted a 2.3L when I was in High school but never got one, had to wait years before having enough to buy my first Mustang- got lucky and found the used '90 at a great deal.

Priority 10 Order #0001 is the default when you build a car in Conceps. The actual order number will probably be in the thousands. At our dealership we are already using 96xx order #'s. When the sales manager places the order they will have to use one of their sequential order numbers assigned by the inventory manager.

Priority 10 is the highest(thats good). We custom number our cars so if was our order it would be something like K001, I spent all of .00001 sec glancing at the header.

Congrats Justin! Nice choice in color too!

Now, as Tom Petty said, The Waiting is the Hardest Part!

And thanks to you Tony for the great idea. I am a member there and had not thought of that.

Congrats! It should look great with the white stripes on blue. I am hoping the ambient lighting can be added to 05 - 07's

Congratulations

Sounds real nice. Only change I would recommend is the cloth roof but I'm biased!

Looking forward to seeing some pics of the ambient lighting and HIDs. BTW - how much was the HID option?

We thought about the cloth top but heard it was harder to keep clean. Unfortunately they said there were no prices available yet so I asked the dealer to contact me when they had an exact price (let's hope he remembers ).

I'll be glad to post some pics when she arrives

Congrats Justin! You're really getting a great Mustang. Love the options you selected.

X-Plan worked well for us. Remember you don't pay documentation fees under the X-Plan. Sometimes the dealer needs to be reminded of this.

Welcome to the site (I'm new here too), and on the order....noticed that HID headlights are an option in the '08 model year? That's awesome ...hopefully something I can retrofit to my '07! How much was that option, if you mind me asking?
