Well, I took the plunge today and did it. I was waiting for the '08s, but after taking a look at the order guide I decided the extra features weren't worth giving up the rebates that the dealership had been offering on the '07s. In the long run ambient lighting wasn't worth my CAI or Bamachips tune or Flowmaster exhaust.

So today I ordered my 2007 Vista Blue GT/CS automatic vert with IUP, Comfort Group, Charcoal Dash, black/dove interior, and active anti theft system.

I want to install the Pioneer Avic-D3 navigation sytem and eventually upgrade my speakers up from the Shaker 500. I also want to get the windows tinted.

Am I missing anything? I promise to post pics in 8-12 weeks when I pick it up.

Let me know if you can think of anything else, and please keep Johnson Space Center in your thoughts as there was a homicide/suicide there today and it is also where I work.

Jeff, that's not her car in the avatar (just like my avatar). It's a member over at californiaspecial.com. I believe they got those silver stripes at bob white

 

I don't know whose it is or where they got the stripe, but I know that Baltimore Street Mods has the different color GT/CS stripes.

And I got auto, I need to update the original post.

 

Sweeet! That BamaChips program will wake the car up. I finally pulled the trigger on the X-Cal from Doug. Just waiting for it to arrive. BTW, do you plan on putting on the white stripes from BSM?

I just put a JLT Xcal 2 today in from Bamachips and you will not be disapointed.

I was looking at the Gloss Silver stripes, but I'm still undecided on stripes at all right now. I'll figure it out after I drive it around awhile.

 

I thought about a stick but honestly the car will spend most of its life sitting in stop and go 5 pm traffic. That, combined with my already unhealthy habits of eating/talking on a cell phone while driving just didn't make it worthwhile. I've had both and even though this new car is more awesome than any of my previous cars, I prefer auto.
