I ORDERED MY 06 A WEEK AGO IS IT POSSIBLE TO TRACK IT , IF SO HOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have a while to wait. They don't begin to produce the 06 models until August 6th.

 

I think mine will be here tomorrow.........

Sorry Odis... just struck me as funny. If you will get your dealers first 06 and your dealer is a big mover of mustangs then you might see it by mid-late Sept. to early Oct.

well you still have till Aug. 8th to even begin to think about seein an 06, then you have to wait for all the left over 05s that didnt get built to be bumped to 06s. then maybe around October youll get it, so just sit back and realx. no need to get all excited just yet. there are a lot of us in the same boat. im one of em

Ford has no idea which orders were originally ordered as '05's as it is up to each dealer to reorder the cars as '06's. Once they are re-ordered, then they are all in the same boat according to individual dealer's priority codes and the infamous commodity constraints. It is very possible for a person to walk into a Ford dealer on July 31st and order an '06 , have it scheduled the 1st week of Aug and get the car before Labor Day.

By the way, the Zone reps were out this week doing their monthly wholesaling and allocation for Aug and Sept production. We got our initial numbers. I have 2 V-6 verts ordered for customers and i fully expect to get both built at the beginning of the model year.

As a footnote, our New Car Manager just got back form the dealer meetings and was told that Mustang production was going to be increased again this year by up to 40,000 additional units.

 

Isellford, thats the exact info my dealer gave me when ordering my 06. Most people assume that the 05 orders automatically roll over and they don't. Also, his zone rep was out and told him he had two allocations and mine was the first 06 they ordered. So I'm hoping mine will get built in August, but with the crazy scheduling who knows.

 

My dealer still had two open allocations for 05s when I ordered my 06. Don't think I'll have to worry about any rollovers effecting my order.

 

DO THEY BUILD THE FLEET ORDERS FASTER OR DO THEY KINDA PUT US ON THE BACK BURNER!

 

Ford doesn't accept any orders in all caps... you may be waiting a while.
