I just noticed on the order form that one set of the 17" wheels (Premium Painted cast Aluminum) std. on GT deluxe and Premium 64F looks like the bullit wheel
and the the other 17" wheel (Bright Machined Cast Aluminum Wheel) opt. on GT Deluxe and Premium 64D is more of an upgrade?

What does everyone prefer? I thought the bullitt looking wheel would be more popular? Just wanted to know everyone's opinion.

I haven't seen the new bullits in person. My '02 GT has bullits, which I like, but would rather have a change at this point. So therefore, I like the upgraded (concept looking) 17's better. Besides, the upgraded 17's look very nice in person, much better than they look in pictures.

I'm going to get the standard bullitt type wheel. Then upgrade to a chrome 18" bullitt wheel once I get my stang. Is it November yet?

I am not entirely happy with either choice. Having said that I have ordered the optional wheels because I think they look better with the 05.

If I had my ideal I would prefer the 18's that were on most of the show cars. They look the best.

I am in the same boat as you...

I don't like the new bullitts as much as the 01-04 ones. They seem to be a little more smoothed out, not as deep-dished as the originals. So it looks as if the concept-style will be on my car barring any last-minute additions.

I am still holding hope for the 18" wheels as well.

That is very true, I hated the concept wheels until I saw them in person

That autoshow mustang GT was so sweet. Ford said, "here's the new Mustang GT...................by the way, you can't have those wheels, or that color, or those stripes, and it's been lowered. But other than that, isn't it sweet?" :bang:

same here. i'd like the 18's, but i think the 17's look really perty. it's a step up for the 15's on my current POS either way. maybe aftermarket 18's a few years down the road.

What IS that color on the silver GT anyway? It's not silver, and it's not mineral gray. Is that titanium?

I wasnt either but the new ones are growing on me now:

Id probably switch the centercaps to the bright chrome "ford" ones they have on the focus now.

I'm in....let's see, where's a sleazy lawyer when you need one. Oh, I know of one that will be available in late November, early December. He's really good at winning money for frivilous lawsuits.........John Edwards. When he looses the election he'll have nothing to do and will surely be looking for work.
