Question Opinions wanted on car show display poster...

I whipped this up tonight to have printed out in time for the Unique Performance car show in Dallas on 10/14. Before I send it up to the printers, I was wanting y'alls opinion on the design. I know it's light on performance mods, but there's always next year

Thanks,
-danny

Looking good! What software did you use? Do you plan to make a poster board?

looks good maybe make the box around the performance mods section smaller so it doesnt look empty?
doesn't need it, just a suggestion.

It was done within Photoshop. Took several hours and many layers to complete.

Yes it will be printed on foamboard with a protective coating on top so it will resist weathering.

Thanks,

Looks great. (and I'm usually pretty critical of things like this)

And on that note... Since you made the Performance Mods box smaller, I'd move "www BlackMustangClub com" under the box. Kind of hard to read at the edge of the fade.
Also maybe try switching to bold for the list of mods. Also to make it easier to read.

Looks good. Now here's my advice to make it look even better. I'd say since you don't have many performance mods just put all your mods together. I'd also say leave out minor stuff like the shorty antenna and emblems. Put all of your mods in a bullet fromat. Just giving you some ideas. BTW your car looks awesome.

pegasusphototx,

Looks pretty good - you also have the CDC pony corral also, right? Did I miss that on your poster?

Also, not to hijack your thread, but I had too much time on my hands this weekend and whipped up this poster for my car. I'm planning on putting it in the same kind of display Brad uses.

This is my first real workout with Photoshop. Do you guys have any suggestions? I don't have a whole lot of choice when it comes to fonts, and I haven't learned how to drop shadow the text. Any way to get it to pop more or make it easier to read?

Also, suggestions on what file format to take this to a printer to?

Thanks!

Looks good. To get font drop shadows, select the font layer your working on, then go to the Layers menu and select Layer Styles. From within that menu, you'll see all kinds of fun things to do to layers... one of them being drop shadows.

The only other suggestion I have is to move the text from the extreme left of the poster. You don't want to have it accidently cropped of for being to close to the edge when it's printed/cut.
