Here is my dilemma, I currently have Pypes Pype Bomb installed along with FRPP Hot Rod Cams, BBK lth, BBK high flow cats x pipe and it is freaking too loud. Everyone except me complains but I do have to do something about it because I also set off the car alarms in my neighborhood.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to which pipe would quiet it a little without neutering it? I ask because I don't have money to try different pipes.

I've got the BBK long tubes and x pipe and at first I had 9 year old Steeda mufflers, which are rebranded Borla Stingers, and they were pretty old and loud. It was ear piercing at WOT, but sounded so good at light throttle. I first tried Magnaflow and they lost all the good sound, they were too restrictive and you couldn't hear the individual pulses. I then went with a set from a local guy and they were better, but still didn't sound as good. I eventually put a set of the Borla Stingers on, could have gotten another set of the Steeda but I like the rolled tip on the Borla. Got the good light throttle sound back, and they're new so not as loud as the old Steeda mufflers were at WOT.

 

Weld in some resonators just after the mid-pipe before the axle. i used these but you might want something a little bigger like Pypes M80's.
