While driving today, I rolled up on a very classy Tungsten with nice wheels and matte spoiler in Columbia, Missouri. The gentleman driver was headed westbound (toward KC) on I-70 about 3:00 pm.

I want to compliment on how classy his ride looked. Very tasteful.

It appeared he had NY plates but really didn't get too good of look at them (I was checking out the car)

The only thing I could think was he would HAVE to be a member of this Forum since it was just too classy looking of ride to NOT be a member...

If any of you guys ever roll through Columbia or see my Screaming Yellow GT, feel free to wave me over to chat! I always have time to talk Mustang!

• This pony was a GT Coupe.
• It did not have striping
• it did have LED taillights (which looked good actually)
• Wheels were chrome (but at hiway speeds, difficult to tell what kind)
• License plate was white and RED, not blue (like Mike's) so I suppose was not NY.
• Had custom front driving lights (that were on) or some sort of lens covers.

I just thought it would be interesting if somebody saw this post and would chime in that it was them. While all Mustang drivers are brothers, those of us that are addicted into modding our rides share a special bond...

My Tungsten Grey GT was in the garage while I was at the KU vs. Iowa State game yesterday. That car will NOT go to football gam parking lots. Why would anyone want to be in Columbia, Missouri?

 

I ran thru there Saturday about 1:30 and didn't see no check points? I was visiting my Uncle at the VA Home. I guess I better call ahead next time for a traffic update. LOL

 

Brandon, next time your in town, let me know and I will buy you a coffee or adult beverage (your choice) and we can sit and chat Mustang for a bit. I still feel bad about not getting info on our show last June...

 

Roger that, I am due for vacation in the next few weeks. I might be up for a road trip.

 

Mach if it was a Vapor you saw I would say It could have been me... cept im all stock atm.

Im always the nut waving at the Mustangers. I saw a 06 Vista Blue Stang on 1-40 a while back with a NC State sticker, I pulled up on him, rolled down the window, and had a minute "conversation" before he gassed it and left me listening to that wonderful SLP sound!
