Great taste in colors I have satin silver too and I love it and I love the Guns N' Roses reference. I named mine Michelle after "My Michelle" on Appitite for Destruction.
What I was thinking of doing with mine as far as stripes go is possibly getting a darker grey, like the mineral grey and doing ghost stripes on the hood, roof and trunk lid.

Hum, sounds intriguing. I like the idea of a darker shade for the stripes on the bottom side of the car. I had initially thought of black. But I guess I'm out of the loop on this kind of stuff - what is "ghost stripes" ???? Know of any picture examples ?

Ghost stripes are stripes that are not a huge contrast to the body color. Usually they are just a different shade of the original color so therefore they don't pop out but when you get a little closer look you see them. The degree of how close you have to look to see them depends on how big a contrast the stripes are to the body color.

There is an example of ones you have to look real close to see the stripes

There is a grey mini with a lighter grey ghost stripe.

Sorry the pictures are not that great but I didn't have much time to search around so I just did a google search.

I am thinking about doing stripes a little lighter than mineral grey on my satin silver GT.

I got the pony power outlet plug from www.mgwltd.com They come in four different logo versions and can be a "plug" or with cig lighter. That company has lots of other items to choose from also.

Hmmmm....I guess I'm going to have to re-visit the site. All I remember seeing is the 4 different cig lighters, and not a plug also.....unless you are referring to the cig lighter being used as a plug? I'll check again.....

Well, the "plug" is basically a cig lighter without the element that gets hot to light a cig.

Sorry for not explaining it very well originally.

Anyway, to me it looks a whole lot better than the original cap that comes from the factory.
