Finally, after a long wait that seemed to last forever, my 05 Satin Silver GT arrived yesterday and I drove her home yesterday evening (pouring down rain). And as other post have said; Yes, it's worth the wait, even though it was sooooooo frustrating at times.
Ha, as you can tell from my member name (mlcrisis), need I explain ! I'm 47 and I've owned lots of vehicles over the years, but I have NEVER been sooooooo excited about a automobile as this one. I feel like I'm 18 again and this car brings back so many memories growing up, crusing around the malls and all the other stuff. What can I say, the 70's were the best years ever to be a teenager. Muscle cars galore - and this 05 Mustang GT hits the mark and so so so much more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely unbelievable !!! Everything is perfect, no problems or issues with anything about the car. And man can it rumble - my Lord, it's so sweeeeeeet.
Vehicle particulars: Satin Silver GT, 5 Speed, Dark Charcoal w/Red Interior Color Accent, Interior Upgrade Package, Active Anti Theft System, Bright Machined Cast Aluminum Wheels. Order receipt date 5-20-04, Produced date 9-29-04, Ship date unknown, Arrival & Sold date 11-22-04, Vin # ends in 103697. I like the pony power outlet plug I got from www.mgwltd.com
Did I get a good deal ? Pretty good I think but not as good as some on this forum. I got $1,000.00 OFF MSRP. Most dealers in my area are getting MSRP and Higher.
Well, I don't know what else to say or report. Pictures are below (if I can figure out how to attach all of them - how do you post more than 1 ???), but they didn't turn out all that great, the weather here for the past several days has been Raining, Overcast, etc

Yo Craig.... I enjoyed looking at your car. I ordered the exact same thing except for No Spoiler & Automatic. I agree that the concept wheels are the one's to have with this color. The thin black line on the GT side emblems, I plan on painting red (just the line, not the whole emblem).....since it's got the red interior. Again...congrats, and enjoy!

I've been pondering having 3M vinyl stripes added on the sides like the older mustangs & shelby's. But I can't make up my mind. My brother said he thought it would make folks think it's a V6 from a distance...
I'm more on the conservative side and I know I don't want the wide stripes on the hood, top, etc.
Anybody out there have any opinions or idea's, pictures, etc ????????? I would love to hear some thoughts.

First, you don't have to stop posting pics.
We can't get enough of them. post away.
Second, and I REALLY like stripes on the '05, I think yours looks great w/o them, and I don't usually like silver.
But if you think they'd look good, go for it.
Don't worry about looking like a V6.
One of the first things I did to my '03 was replace the GT fender emblems with the ponies just for the nostalga.

Just Gorgeous! Couldn't wait to see a silver with the red interior
And thanks for the link to www.mgwltd.com. I'm definately getting that power outlet plug along with a few other goodies. Love their coat hanger replacements too.
