Just about to break 1,000 miles () on my GT and everything is working fine. Only complaints so far are the slow Shaker 500 CD changes and the fact that it's been raining this past week so it's dirty.

Only minor issues here. Squeaky brakes seem to finally be resolved, Shaker spit out a CD for the first time today, re-inserted it and no problems, just the non-flush dash that needs to be fixed but no rush on that. The car is still awesome, and I still look forward to driving it every day, I can't get enough of it.

Have had the car only a few days, only problem is the Shaker skipping and spitting out CD's. They need to fix this stereo problem, or I am going to get a new deck.

No problems here @ 1,300 miles. Once in a great while it will eject or skip on a CD, but this is no big deal for me, because I listen to FM the majority of the time anyway.

Dislike the winter here, want to drive the GT. It is the least of all evil weather though. You know its coming and just have to wait it out, year after year.

Nice to hear some good words for the GT.

What a great car. I took her for a run this morning the reactions I get from the other people around me is amazing! But, it realy sounds like there is a problem with the shaker system. I put in a new radio just to have my Ipod input.
I don't think that I could be happer with my baby

Does anyone know if Ford is correcting these problems on the cars they are currently building, or are they going to wait until next year?

Only 700-something miles, but smooth sailing so far. Even the Shaker has performed flawlessly. Only glitch has been a check engine light that came on at 100 miles. Dealer reset it, hasn't come on since. I love this car

Mine was built in December, the Shaker has been having problems since day 1, so I know they haven't done anything to remedy that problem.

I have about 1800 miles on mine.......Same thing , Shaker skips once in a while, beyond that it exceeds all expectations B) In the barn for the winter now.

I only have 140 miles:P

But my shaker has skipped a few times, however it may just be more sensitive to scratches then my last player.

1700 miles

Had the shaker problem with some older mp3 cd's. I reburned them and no problems since. But the first mp3 cd I ever burned back in 97 works fine. Guess they don't make cd's like they used to.

Windows Scratching my tint- not fixed- haven't had it looked at yet
Squeeky brakes- not fixed- been in the shop for it several times
Chattering out of the rearend- not fixed- waiting for parts
Noise when turning slowly- Fixed- replaced clutch packs

and to think only 1450miles.

Just turned 500 miles and not a problem in sight. She is flawless and performing great. Shaker 1000 rocks with any CD I put in it, it sound better than my home system. Thank you Ford!

Just over 750 miles on mine and the only problem is with the Shaker 500 skipping
every once in awhile. I have been useing TDK CD's and they seem to work better than the Sony and Memorex ones. This doesn't happen on the MP3 Discs I have.
Anyone else notice that?
No other problems, the car is just great and so much fun to drive.

Just turned 1600 miles after a Christmas trip of about 500 miles roundtrip. Runs strong, no problems whatsoever and it averaged 23 mpg on the trip!

Have had only one minor issue to report. The LH coat hook was not properly installed - they over drove the mounting screw so the hook fell off when I cleaned the interior. I undid the screw, put the hook assembly back together and re-drove the screw correctly - problem solved.

There is about 2 inches of very mild orange peel on the paint on the bumper in front of the RH headlight. But being an classic Mustang guy, I sort of consider that to be a distinguishing mark not a flaw!

Mine is an early car (ordered June 1, delivered October 28 and VIN sequence 2117) and I really consider mself lucky as I read the tales of woe reported on this site!!

I have just turned 1400 miles and have a growing list of things for the dealer to look into.. all miner!!
1) Brake Resevoir leaking at cap.. had cap replaced..Still leaking..Top of Resevoir must be uneven or cracked.. Will have whole bottle replaced!!
2) Popping in front end while turning hard Right and Left while moving slow IE as in parking the car or leaving.. Service teck heard it as well just driving it to have the oil changed..
3) Front wheel well guards not tight can move them around with my hands..
4) Just took a a 400 mile road trip..In the rain..And the Wife found a small leak of water coming in Just under the passenger side kick panal.. I felt under the kick panal and found a small line of water coming down..Could be windshild leak or very front of the door jam where the wires for the door come in..
5) On the same road trip..Found the Climate control panal not working correctly..Blowing air in the main vents while set to the off position..Then set it to just blow air just to the feet position, And it was blowing air to both feet and defrost vents...Tryed it again this morning and all is normal
That's my list of things for the Dealer to look into and fix..Thought I'd get them all together and leave the car for a few days and let them get them all at once..Better then driving back and forth
These are not meant to be seen as negative things..Just things for every one to be on the look out for!!!
Motor, Tranny, and Rear end all running strong..Shaker 500 perfect @ 24.5 mpg on the road trip
Love this Car... But Bugs are bugs it's the new car thing
