NOW Stroked 5.0 302 Completely forged and Supercharged!!!
You have several options with how crazy you want to get with non-pump fuels. You can go as low as 100 octane or jump up with the big boys to Q16. Either way, they all smell bad.

And yes I am. Anywhere I am my name is the same.
I personally don't care for the smell. Everyone I work with or my customers think i'm crazy for it because they love it. Q16 specifically(I deal with that more than any other race gas) is very sweet smelling, even after its been burned. You can tell when someone is running it but you have to be near the car or the wind has to be blowing your way.
I always did like the smell of diesel though!

Let me put it this way. We saw a little over a 100hp(at the wheels on a Mustang dyno) gain from 91 pump to Q16 with about 8 more psi of boost. Since the wastegate needs to be changed out, we're still not running all the boost we'd like on Q16. Of course, its a COMPLETELY different car and setup, so that's something to keep in mind. But not bad for a 3.0 with a small-ish turbo.
It does get expensive though. $13.75 a gallon is what its going for here.

Yeah I kinda figured considering how much colder it burns but those are good numbers... As for the cost I knew it was high but not that high... I mean my dad uses 100 octane for his plane and that stuff keeps climbing as well...
I completely understand, but they do a build like this on a daily basis... They specialize on american muscle but can do anything... They just got done doing a Twin kit on a gallardo!!! Lets put it this way if I didn't know the and see the quality work they do I wouldn't have gone with them; I would have just sucked it up and gone w/ Brenspeed and there higher CR...
