Now Stangless :(
I was t-boned making a U-Turn this Wednesday. Thankfully me and my good friend riding shotgun are perfectly ok. We were able to reuturn to work the next day at 100% capacity.
I got the very top end this car will sell in the Market which numbs the pain, I will not be getting another Mustang. I'll just pay off the Ranger I have.
Then I will sit tight and see about the '10-'11 Stang. This time it will be a V8
I have a quick question, as I've been out of the loop here.
I have an XCal2, I did return the calibration to stock before letting them take it away. Now I should be ok using that on the Ranger with new tunes from Doug right?
I also have a few goodies that will be up for sale shortly.
Sequential tailights complete harness.
Black leather with red stiching shifter boot, cut short for Hurst shifted cars.
Matching leather on center console lid.
C&L intake for V6 with MAF attached
4 16" Premium wheels with fake spinners, Bulitts got tweaked that were on car at accident.
I also have the Shaker 1000 trunk sub and amps.
A few Hurst ***** on my sig.
OEM shifter assm, with OEM **** (like new)
Like new black front&rear floor mats. (I took these off in 05, was using other mats that stayed)

Ow. Just ow. Sincerely glad you're ok. Truly. Being hit is fairly traumatic. Sorry to hear about the loss of the car's use. Hopefully the 2010's will be good for ya... and if not, pretty sure there's an 05-09 that'd work for ya too, yeah? Just have to find her... or let her find you, like it was for Awesome and I.
Now the self centered, avarice part of the post, since you're sellin' things... too bad that airbag cover was bent up, I need it for mah project. Sigh.
/would seriously be cryin' if mah baby got totaled...

Holy crap dude!!!
Glad to see that you and your friend are ok! :-\
Still, sorry to see the wreck though. good to see your insurance is giving you the best your car will pull in the market.
also smart move on selling the mods off, thats what I'd do if that happened to me. is anything other than the tune usable on your ranger?

I still have my other baby which will hold me over, and on the plus side the wreck payed it off. Man the empty space in the garage is kinda saddening though.

A '96 Oldsmobile Achieva, at about 45-50 mph dead hit. No skids, or signs of the other driver attempting to brake, in fact he may have pressed the gas more lol
The Mustang held up very well I think. I definitely am sold on their safety.

I am also surprised it held up as well as it did, no doubt that these are built to the best standards!
Sorry to hear about your accident, luckily everyone is OK, and now with the Ranger paid off, you'll have plenty of time to save up for the 5.0 in 2011!

I too am glad my passenger, most importantly, walked away unharmed. This is one tough guy, as this happened during our lunch break. He returns to work after the accident, CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!!!!
And we are Diesel Mechanics, its no walk in the park job.

why do you assume it was illegal? maybe someone was gunning it to run a red light to make it after he was starting his U turn. He could have been looking left to make sure it was clear on that side not seeing a car about to plow into him on the right side because he assumed cars would stop when their light was red
