Not much news lately in Mustangland
SE is closely guarded
(we know they are working on one, just as we know they are working on a cobra)
Don't expect news anytime soon.
If anything, SEMA....which is november
They are gearing up for launch shortly, of the V6/GT.
Lets be happy with what we've got for now.
And yes, now is a slow time....it happens.

I can't believe we have come this far and they havn't shown us the convertible yet. If anything, I think we'll see pricing next followed by pictures of the first cars coming down the lot.
Since it sounds like Ford is planning on making a lot of these things to gear up for the Fall I hope someone gets some pics of all the cars sitting in the factory "hangar". I had a picture of about 100 or so 2002 GTs sitting in the factory waiting to be moved. Unfortunately it was on my old computer which I have to have fixed. Awesome site to see though!

Guys, we need to just be patient. And I can tell you that Ford will not be releasing any pics or probably any info on an SE, the cobra, or a vert before the Mustang begins production in September. And quite possibly for a couple months after that, at least. They want to make sure they sell plenty of the regular V-6's and GT's. I'm sure they don't want to do anything to hurt sales of the first production models. Ford making us wait, as frustrating as it is, is a brilliant marketing scheme. Sometimes I wish they had waited a while to introduce the first pics and info on the '05 so we didn't have to wait for um... over 6 months! But, it's gonna be worth the wait. And for those of you holding out for the 18's, vert's, Se's, etc... I feel for you. I'm already almost to the point of insanity, and I have already ordered mine.
I'm glad it's slow. This place was getting to the point where there was so many posts each day that I couldn't keep up. It was also a pain when there are so many that it overflows into the second page, but if you go to the second page to check the latest pots there, all the "latest post" icons are gone from the first page, leaving you to manually go through and figure out what's new. It takes for friggin ever.
This change in pace is very welcome.

It's like a nightmare! I'm stuck at the wedding reception that lasts forever...and when i'm old and decrepid...the honeymoon begins...she's still 19 but now I'm an old fart thats like 89. Waiting stinks! But then again, she'll look pretty darn good when i finally do get to see her...hope she likes my wrinkles?!? By the way got my 1st issue of Mustang Enthusiast and I recommend it. Good stuff!

The gt wouldn't look quite as good. A lot of us are drooling over these cars but as soon as an se comes out a lot of us will be envious. Some of us will even trade in for a se in a year or 2 so they move even more of them. B)

If the first 05 mustang they see is a Cobra, or Mach their eyes may be a little spoiled.
