Not a bad pair

Every Saturday morning, there is a pretty decent car meet near me. Here's a nice pair from yesterday's.

Someday soon, I hope to be parking my Tungsten Mustang GT next to these guys!

Even though it's 7 am at a movie theater, I don't condone that practice and would NEVER park there. I'm not sure why they do that. There sure are plenty of other places to park. I hope they don't do that on a regular basis.

You're kidding, right?? The theatre is not open.....why would a handicapped person need to park there?

Beautiful cars btw.

How about a disabled person coming to see the cars at the meet?

The law is the law re: handicapped spots - there is no posted time range. Just because a business isn't opened doesn't invalidate the purpose of the handicapped spots in front. The fine would be the same whether the business is open or not.

There are dozens of other spots available so IMHO there is no need to use those spaces.

Since "the law is the law" I assume that means you drive at or below the posted speed limit at all times?

No, your assumption is incorrect.

My point in making that statement had nothing to do with my following of the law, but as a response to the premise that because a business is closed it is somehow OK to park in spots reserved for the handicapped that happen to be located in front of that building. ALL I was saying is that it is just as illegal at 6 am as it is at 6 pm. It is NOT like a "No Parking from 8 am to 5 pm" zone.

I sure don't want to get into a debate about this subject. I would not park in spaces reserved for the handicapped...at any time. If any of you guys think it's ok, that's your choice.

I also don't agree with using handicapped spots no matter what time it is. However, people do it all the time and at 6am it's not a problem for most. The problem I have is someone who does it and then takes a pic and advertises it to the internet. Thats just an invite for critism, including mine. ! !

Very good point. I kinda felt a little weird posting the pic in the first place. No one knows what time it was taken, so it looks like a couple of jerks parked their nice cars there.
