Went with the local Mustang Club through the Napa Valley today. Was a great time. Got pulled over 7 miles from home. Simple speeding. The guy in the BMW was shadowing me and got written up, too.

Cool CHP officer... I was doing 82 in a 55. He wrote me for 65. I can do traffic school, thank God. The way I see it, if he wanted to, he could have arrested us for racing...

This car is a daily lesson in restraint and maturity. Today, I got schooled.

Your a cool guy in my books Bob ,most would complain about the ticket and say that the cop should be doing something else other than giving them a ticket.
It takes a big person to say that they were in the wrong and to think the cop was cool for cutting you guys a break on the ticket. :worship:

Great picture. I bet the cop wouldn't have been so generous if he had seen you taking a pic (making light of the situation). I would definitely invest in a good radar detector. It will pay for itself in a year the way I, and obviously you, drive.

Naw, if it was me that had pulled him over I would have still given him a brake. People are always stopping to watching what we do, sometime with a picture camera and sometimes with a video camera. The first few times it happened to me I had a weird feeling about it but then you just get used to the Police Paparazzi. Of course since I own a Mustang I probably would have let him off with a warning

Beautiful car and I really enjoyed your website. The info on the sequential tail lights was helpful too for down the road.

Good thing you got off 'lightly'. Be careful out there!

Love the Silver! :worship:

Just another reason why we should always have a camera on us... that is a great picture! Sorry about the ticket, but at least the cop was cool to site you at only doing 10 miles over the speed limit.

The Napa Valley Police strike again! My girlfriend lives up there and she got ticketed for not wearing her defective seatbelt in her 99 stang

Good thing you didn't have one of those "Objects in mirror are losing" stickers because it looks like you lost. Nice pic
