Noise from rear wheel wells
#1
Last Sunday I did a short power brake. Less than 10 feet just to show the fiance. We were just a block from home so the rest of the trip you could hear the light sound of grit coming off the rear tires into the wheel wells. No biggie.
Well, 5 days later and it's still doing it. Slow speed, fast speed and intermitent. It sounds just like you drove over dry sand with wet tires and it's kicking the debris off... but it doesn't stop. Wheels look clean and the treads look tip-top. The wheel wells are clean, too. And it doesn't "sound" mechanical.
Any ideas or am I finally losing my mind?
