Okay, everyone chillout, the 2005 mustang is the best one since the 60's... It's got gobs of personality, and everyone knows what a stang can do with just a couple of bolt ons. The car is amazing and i do double takes everytime a see one, which leads me to irrational thoughts of putting myself in debt to go buy one.

On the other hand...I have to admit the forrester is quite a contender. It's no way in the same class as a classic RWD coupe like the mustang. But if you wanted to spend money on an SUV or wagon...I would take it over the explorer or freestyle anyday. The XT (AWD turbo 2.5 liter 4 cylinder) bangs out a 0-60 in under 6 seconds. Its got like 230 lbs. of torque and weighs like 3,200 lbs. I test drove one and couldn't believe the launch I got out of it. It put my head in the back seat. Definately a sleeper, and did things I did not expect.

There...just wanted to be a nonbiased mediator and add my 2 cents to both sides.

Now I must say, I was looking at the WRX sti, but it's a different breed of car!
For the bang for the buck, can't touch the 05 Mustang! Can't touch it!!
