Well, after almost 4 months of waiting (I know, not as long as some.), I can happily say that my 05 has arrived at the dealer. If all goes well, I should be in the drivers seat by end of next week.

What a great Independence Day gift, being free of Dodge Neon rental I've been driving for 3 months.

It was really rough these last few weeks. The ERL was completely useless. Apparently, Ford's system doesn't do well with shipping. From the point it left the factory until it arrived at the dealer yesterday, no one seemed to know exactly where it was.

Talk about a frustrating time!

But I know it's all be worth it, and, while I know they'll be lots of fireworks this weekend, I'll be having my celebration next weekend when I'm in the driver's seat.

Thanks to all for listening to my ranting and venting over these last few months.

Aloha,

Ken

Radar Love...great song! Congrats on your new 'Stang...I have a 7 month wait or so ahead of me but Karpro was up front with me about it before I ordered so I'm prepared for the wait. Enjoy!

Thanks, Lynell.

I am looking forward to having something happen when I step on gas.

I do like to think I look cool no matter what I'm driving B) but every man appreciates a woman's validation. :worship:

By the way, if I haven't mentioned before - great, avatar. Are you an anime fan?

Paul's the very best AMG. He'll take really good care of you. Hope your wait is easy. The end result is surely worth. (Sounds kind of religious, don't it?)

Radar Love is one of the things I'd love to play when I finally pick it up, but all of my CDs are still in storage from my move out here.

Looks like I'll be settling for the radio. Good thing there's one rock station out here.

Ken.

"Last car to pass, here I go..."

Love that song... :worship: either that or "Machinehead" by Bush will likely get me a ticket if I'm in the stang when either comes on the radio.

This site and Paul Bowers are THE reason why I'll be owning a Mustang GT next year ...I've been a lurker the past 6 months but finally decided to post a little.

I found the same thing about trying to track the vehicle after it leaves the plant. It's definitely the hardest stretch of waiting, just knowing it's SO close.

Got Radar Love on my Mustang playlist, a must have, along with many other good driving tunes.

Hang in there, you're almost there!
