According to a Canadian dealer I spoke to today - who claims to have talked to a senior Ford "person" recently - the 18" fanblades will not be available until the '06 model year kicks off...and even then, they will probably be available only in the US and NOT in Canada.

Anyone heard anything about this? Confirm or deny? The second part sounds like bunk to me.

I wouldn't doubt they won't offer them in Canada. There's no spoiler delete here, they've probably crunched the numbers and figure that people won't spring for the more exensive tire and wheel package.

We have heard that they will be available, but its not 100%. Nothing is. So you'll just have to wait and see. We can say "I doubt they won't be available." But we just don't know.

Sounds like kaka...

The spoiler delete is to cutdown on the ammount of options and combos.
But with something like wheels, usually they are across the board.

We 'should' get the 18s in 06 just like everywhere else.
but he's right, not TILL 06, and we don't know the availabilty of when.

As a side note, those wheels are made in canada

Who makes them? And can we get them?

FYI, the rims are made in Canada. I'd say they would be available.
