i wanted to put nitrous on my roush...can anybody recommend any nitrous systems?and do iget that thing where the smoke shoots out of the hood?do i have to get any special gauges??and also, is nitrous safe to put in my car?? thanks

 

I just had Brenspeed install the Zex Nitrous kit on my car last Monday, the kit is designed for th GT, I have the 75 shot now, may go higher later on. Look at Brenspeed web site they explain all about the Zex system.

The zex is nice because it's simple and all but if you want a REAL nitrous kit, go NX. I had the zex, had tons of problems, switched to NX and never looked back. I hated the zex box because it compacted all the solenoids, wot switch, and fpss into one box so you couldn't troubleshoot the system basicly. Also the "feature" that constantly adjusts the amount of nitrous and fuel going into the kit makes it impossible to have a steady A/F ratio. NX all the way.

 

I personally think you will get various opinions on which is best, just like cai sytems and tuners, some people swear by one brand others say its no good.
