pretty nicely done.
except a little TOO low with H&R springs...
not sure if the brakes were upgraded to larger or not...

The wheels are just a hair too big and the front shot of the car really shows how bad a billet grille can look when you can see the hood latch behind it, but an extremely nice car otherwise.

I have been watching the CDC black billet grille thread. It looks great on PSH. How did you deal with the latch issue? This may be one of my few cosmetic mods and I want to do it right.

oops.
Sorry. I was referring to a picture of a blue GT you posted in the CDC Black Billet Grille thread in the Exterior Mods section. I was wondering if you had any ideas to hide the factory latch behind a billet grille.

They posted on here about that car back in Aug http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=51773
I agree with Brad about the wheels being too big. 18"s would look better IMO.

WOW. Now that's exactly the wheel and tire setup that the '08 Bullitt OUGHT to sport! Car sits a trifle too low, but otherwise, looks great!
Anybody care to hazard a guess as to what size and manufacturer those wheels are? I'm gonna guess 20" American Racing Torque Thrust IIs.
EDIT: OK, I just read the description. They ARE, in fact, 20" American Racing Torque Thrust IIs. These would definitely look good on a DHG car!

Overall, I like the car... a lot. The best part about it is the color of the stripes. That's the best blue to stripe a white S197 with, IMO.
The bars on the grille are too close together. The new CDC grille would look MUCH better. (and the grille emblem needs to be placed higher up) Also, the U66 oval in the side stripe looks terrible. As well as the Indy 500 looking fender badge.
Yes, that's a Roush scoop, but the new GTAP scoop would have looked a lot better. It's more in line with the look of the 65/66 Shelby scoop.
It's all about the details.![04](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/04.gif)
I agree with the others on the wheels. 20's are definitely too big for the car. Anything bigger than 18's just doesn't look right on an S197. They don't fit the style of the car. Especially when you're going for such a retro look.
