I need an opinion. I'm buying a dual exhaust kit for my 2006 v6 with a y pipe instead of an x pipe. so i decided i'd either get an x pipe or an h pipe. I prefer the sound of an H pipe but have read that the x pipe is more free flowing and frees more horsepower. So i found some quotes online, and the two i've narrowed it down to are ford racing x pipe and pypes x pipe. In your opinion which would probably be better in sound and overall power?
Which should I get?

 

it's a 160 dollar kit with a y pipe which is pretty cheap and an x pipe would run me about 100 bucks. so 260 for true exhaust isn't bad at all. it's just which to get.

 

I have the FRPP one and I got it just because it was the cheapest. On something like an X pipe as long as they're the same diameter and same quality metal I don't see how there could be much difference ...
