Looks hot! I love that color. I saw my first 05 in person today at a Ford dealer around here. It was a silver V6 with dealer installed black stripes. It looked sweet. It had the IUP package inside. I talked to the salesman and he said that all of the GTs were sold before they even put them on the lot.

That's from the press days at the NAIAS (aka Detroit auto show)
The silver GT vert is no longer there... they now have a Torch red GT vert instead.

There is no boot cover that is the top. It folds the front section on top to create a boot cover. Great idea. You dont have to stop the car and deal with snaps not to mention if you ever tried to replace one at the dealer, $500.00!

I was at the show and talked to the ford reps there.
That is a removable boot on top of the cover.
I think it is a $195 option CAN.
For those of you who do not care for truck space, yes ,the top does
look aukward. But for myself, i have a cottage up north that i go to every weekend.. I need some sort of trunk space. As you can see, with the top down, there is minimal lose of space.

Is that Satin Silver or Titanium? I'm guessing Satin Silver.

Never been big into verts before, but this is just about the best looking convertible I've ever seen.
