I'm assuming the one covered with aftermarket crap is probably the one to be used for "pursuit mode", and thus most of those tacky add-ons actually have a purpose. I'm not going to flame it. I'll wait to see the movie, first.

 

It's apparently called "Attack Mode" KITT

 

I on the other hand shall flame it, watch the movie, and flame it again!

 

I am going to protest the show and not watch it now.

So does this mean we can expect mustang knight rider body kits? Seriously though whoever decided to put that spoiler on there needs to be shot. Even with the excessive body kit it still looked cool, but that spoiler... ugh.

It looks...chunky. Very very rice.

One of the other ones looks like a GT500 with a V6 wing on it (correct me if I'm wrong) which has a really cool streamlined look to it with the body kit it has.

What do you guys think of the lines across the headlight being higher up than the aftermarket ones? It's different but I don't hate it.

 

You know, I used to watch Knight Rider when I was a kid. I don't remember wanting a Firebird after watching it.

On the other hand, after watching Air Wolf as a kid, I did want my own helicopter with unlimited missles and my own Ernest Borgnine to go with it!!! lol

 

Here's some pictures from the original show. Super Pursuit mode allowed KITT to travel 40% faster and do other things. Attack Mode is the modern equivalent. The original KITT has just as much ugly tacked on stuff for this mode. I think too many people are thinking KITT will just be driving around looking like that all the time.
