I must agree, meeting courtney hansen would have been the highlight of my day.
the shelby is nice. If i had known about it before i ordered mine, and was able to get the red interior in a white one, i would have bought it. Because to be honest if you had all those parts put on at the dealer, they probably would have charged you more than 5000 to put them on. Plus the whole reason they built it was because of comsumer feedback wanting a retail version of the GT-H. so if you think about it the only reason it exists is because people like US wanted it built. And one other thing that i think is worth noting. Remember that the car rolls off the assembly line as a standard mustang GT and is modified at shelbys shop. THis was done for one reason. It was more feasible (read: cheaper) to have it done in that manner than to actually try to add the parts in at the factory. It's built in a similar way that the original shelby mustangs were built. i think its cool. THe Adjusted market value from the dealers is going to kill it. If they built a convertible i bet my father would buy one though. I jsut think its cool that they put the hurst shifter in it. looks sweet.

Hey Bill, that's a great picture of your son with Courtney Hanson. What was she doing there?
Leo, I have a question for you. What type of wheels were on the Legend Lime GT that you posted on the 3rd page of the photo album? They really look like original Shelby wheels, but they look like a center spline hub with a real knock-off? If you have any ideas on that I would appreciate it.

It is not cheaper... it is quicker. Ford did not believe that they could have brought the car into production in less than 2 years... Wouldn't have been much point to it if they did 2 years down the road.
